I’m Maximilian, a cinematographer based in Vienna, Austria. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cinematography at the Filmakademie Vienna, building on a deep-seated passion for filmmaking that began back in high school. My experience spans a range of roles and genres: as a Director of Photography, I’ve worked on numerous documentaries, fiction films, and commercials, and I’ve also gained valuable skills working as a Gaffer and Camera Assistant. Outside of filmmaking, I’m a self-taught mechanic, always keen to understand how things work—whether behind a camera or under the hood. I’m driven by a commitment to storytelling and the art of capturing moments that resonate.
